Swami Shubamritananda Puri visited Kenya from March 23 to March 30, 2025, at the invitation of Amma’s well-wishers in the African nation. He was accompanied by Brahmachari Vivek.
During his stay, Swami Shubamritananda held two public programs at the Trademark Hotel and the SSD Temple in Nairobi, captivating the large audiences with his talks, devotional singing and meditation sessions.
The talk at the Trademark Hotel was centered on “The Art of Decision Making,” while the topic at the SSD Temple was “Happiness is a Decision.”
Swami Shubamritananda also took the opportunity to visit Amrita Watoto Boma, our care home for children. At the moment, there are 145 students from impoverished families who attend the day school.
Swamiji spent some quality time with the kids, bringing much joy to all. He also participated in the mass-feeding program that is held every Sunday, providing meals to over 250 children.
With the inauguration of a new school at Athi River scheduled for the end of April, a beautiful Ganapati Homam was led by Br Vivek, filling the new building with vibrations of peace and serenity. The ancient Hindu ritual is dedicated to seeking blessings before starting a new stage in life.
