Amrita Vidyalayam Tanur in Malappuram, Kerala secured 8th position in the 2025 National Green School Ranking for India. The award was given to our secondary school by Green Mentors, an environmental organization operating under the auspices of the United Nations.

​Brahmachari Ramanandamrita Chaitanya, who is with MA Centres North America, received the award at the 80th Anniversary session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The recognition was achieved based on the school’s excellence in Green Curriculum, Biodiversity Conservation, Energy Efficiency, Water Management, Waste Management, Sustainable Transportation, Innovation and Research, and Observation and Reporting.
