With love and devotion, Amritapuri bid farewell to Lord Ganesha. For the past 10 days, Ganesha Chaturthi celebrated the birth of the remover of obstacles. The traditional procession started from the Ashram’s Kalari, with Amma gracefully blessing the Ganesha idol on its way to the sea.
Hundreds of people from countries around the world participated in the festivities and prayers with great joy. The festival concluded with the immersion of the Ganesha idol into the Arabian Sea at the Ashram’s beach—symbolising the journey from worldly dualities to the oneness of Sanatana Dharma.
