Amrita Hospital, Kochi in collaboration with the Puthuppally Charitable Club, successfully organized a free eye check-up and cataract surgery camp. The town is in Kerala’s Kottayam district, and the camp witnessed an overwhelming response from the public.
More than 1,300 people attended the camp, and nearly 500 were given free spectacles. The check-ups and medical consultations were carried out by the expert ophthalmologists from Amrita Hospital.
The camp was inaugurated by Chandy Oommen, MLA of Puthuppally.
This initiative reflects Amrita’s continued commitment to providing accessible, high-quality healthcare to people from all sections of society.
