The sacred geometric symbol of Sri Rama will act as a subtle channel for dharma, awakening integrity, inner strength, and selflessness in the hearts of those who pray.
The Sri Rama Raksha Yantra was consecrated at the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya today, March 19, 2026. The event coincides with the beginning of Chaitra Navratri, the Hindu New Year, and the start of Rama Navami celebrations.
The ceremonies were led by India’s President, Droupadi Murmu, accompanied by Amma and the Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, alongside other dignitaries. Also present was Swami Govind Dev Giri ji, Treasurer of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
In her message, Amma described Sri Rama as the enduring light of Indian culture and the embodiment of dharma. In a world of declining values, he personifies purity of character and awakens inner strength and selflessness. She prayed for the life and remembrance of Sri Rama to always sanctify human hearts.

The yantra’s large metal plate weighs around 150 kg and is made of Panchadhatu—a sacred alloy of gold, silver, copper, zinc, and iron. It was then plated with 24-carat gold. At a size of just under 1 metre by 1 metre, it is intricately engraved with Vedic mantras and sacred geometric patterns, designed according to precise scriptural and mathematical principles. Installed on the temple’s second floor, it will radiate as a subtle channel for the divine energy of Lord Rama in harmony with the cosmic order.
Addressing the gathering, the President said that Ram Rajya represents a system of governance rooted in justice and equality, and described Ayodhya as a centre of India’s spiritual and cultural energy. She shared that the construction of the Ram Temple marks the beginning of a new phase in the country’s civilisational journey.
The consecration rituals were led by Acharya Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid of Kashi, along with 51 Vedic scholars. Among those present were Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala Temple, and Dattatreya Hosabale, Sarkaryavah of the RSS.

During the ceremony, 400 workers involved in the construction of the Ram Temple were honoured by the President. A 400-year-old handwritten manuscript of the Valmiki Ramayana, presented by the Central Sanskrit University, was also formally installed within the temple complex.
The event was coordinated by members of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, including Shri Champat Rai, General Secretary; Swami Govind Dev Giri ji, Treasurer; Shri Dinesh Chandra, VHP International Patron; and Shri Nripendra Misra, Chairman, Construction Committee.
