From Christmas carols to Bharatnatyam performances, to a dance for Hannukah, and even a skit about an Italian dreaming of pizza while meditating, Amritapuri‘s annual Christmas Eve multicultural performances captivated the audience which included people joining via webcast from around the world.

The show celebrated the beauty of how many different traditions can be joyfully sewn together through unity in diversity. Amma also led everyone in singing bhajans, with a call for an end to the darkness humanity now faces, and to inspire joyful expressions of the pure love that beats in all everyone’s hearts. Prayers for universal peace reverberated worldwide.

At the end, Santa Claus found time in his yearly global journey to make a stop at Amritapuri to help Amma distribute chocolate cake prasad.
