Forgiveness is often seen as a weakness. However, it takes tremendous spiritual strength to forgive. Seeking Forgiveness is the theme for Swami Amritaswarupananda Puri’s upcoming Asia-Pacific Spiritual Retreat in Indonesia

“Forgiving frees the soul and opens the door to inner peace,” Amma often says. Swamiji will share further insight into how spiritual masters, past and present, proclaim that forgiveness is one of the highest virtues. As Amma’s most senior disciple, he has many stories to tell in his life with her since the late 70s.

We invite you to join Swamiji for this inspiring event. It will take place from April 18 – 20, 2025 at the Radisson Golf & Convention Center Batam.

The gathering is the region’s second annual retreat after last year’s hugely successful event in Singapore united devotees from Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Hong Kong, China and Australia. As well, 500 people from more than 20 countries took part at the site and online.

Amma was pleased that her devotees had come together in the name of spirituality and social service in the region. They took on the name Asia-Pacific Amrita Kutumbam (APAK) with ‘kutumbam’ the Sanskrit word for ‘family’.

Since then, APAK has been conducting spiritual activities online. These include meditation sessions, AYUDH meets for Amma’s youth wing, and online spiritual discourses.

This annual spiritual event will not only help consolidate and boost the scope of APAK activities. It will also help devotees rejuvenate themselves spiritually through a blend of meditation and yoga, discourses and Q&A sessions, as well as games and cultural programs.

Swamiji’s program is being organised by Amriteswari Society Singapore. To find out more, Whatsapp +65 8968 5703 or email apacspiritualretreat@gmail.com
