The Amrita Centre for Oncogenetics is an advanced initiative for early cancer detection and precision treatment planning. The facility was officially inaugurated at the Amrita Kripa Speciality Clinic in Vellimadukunnu, Kozhikode, about 170 km north of Amrita Hospital, Kochi.
The centre is dedicated to offering cutting-edge genetic testing for cancer risk and oncology services. To support the community and encourage early diagnosis, all doctor consultations are currently offered free of charge.
The facilities are equipped to conduct a wide range of genetic screenings aimed at identifying cancer risks in advance and helping guide patients toward the most appropriate treatment paths. A specialised panel of oncologists and genetic experts from Amrita Hospitals in Kochi and Faridabad will lead the clinical efforts.
The inauguration ceremony was led by Swami Purnamritananda Puri, General Secretary of Mata Amritanandamayi Math. Key attendees included Swami Vivekamritananda Puri, Head of Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Kozhikode; Dr C Sreekumar; Dr Aarthi; Dr Harish; Dr Prasheetha; Brahmachari Shaijen; and Deepesh, who also addressed the gathering.
