All you need is love. A traditional British choir welcomed Amma to London with their version of that classic 1967 tune by the Beatles. It’s a message that Amma continues to share with the world today as humanity finds its way back to the light within.

Since Amma’s last visit to the UK was six years ago, a few thousand devotees from all over England arrived hours in advance at Sandown Park Racecourse in Esher to greet her with profound devotion and elation. Chants, flowers, and heartfelt longing lit up the entire venue as Amma entered the hall.

Amma was also joined by a powerhouse panel of women dignitaries—Ms Shivani Rajnikant Raja, Member of Parliament for Leicester East; Dr Karen Darke, Paralympic gold medalist, adventurer, and motivational speaker; and Ms Poppy Jamie, entrepreneur and former television presenter.

In her address, MP Shivani Raja expressed her admiration for Amma: “What has always stood out for me in Amma’s message is its simplicity and universality. She reminds us of the fact that love is our true essence and that love has no limitations of caste, religion, race, or nationality.”

Continuing with her reflection, she said: “As an MP, much of my time is spent addressing the immediate pressures faced by people at home: housing, healthcare, cost of living, and simply feeling safe.

“It is deeply striking that Amma’s life has been dedicated to addressing these very same challenges around the world—but it is not through policy or politics, rather through compassion and service.”

Sharing her thoughts, Dr Karen Darke described life itself as an adventure, a journey to learn and grow from. To think we are not enough is part of being human, but Amma inspires us to go beyond that.

“What if you are more capable than you ever imagined? What if the future is not something to worry about but to create now? What if what you call impossible is simply waiting for your unique approach? What if possibilities do not happen out there but within you?” she said.

“I love to remind myself of the quote: ‘Our mind is a garden, our thoughts are the seeds, we can plant flowers or we can grow weeds.’ With these flowers, wonderful things can happen. Even more so since I met Amma, as magic happens around Amma.”

Ms Poppy Jamie continued this theme, expressing it was a huge honour to be with Amma as a selfless leader in service to humanity’s rising.

“Amma represents a choice we all hold: to choose a life of love, fulfilling our greatest potential,  or remain sucked in the chaos and selfishness that everyday life can present. Thank you Amma for being this shining light, constantly inspiring us to choose and rechoose a life of love and a life of kindness,” she said.

Throughout the program, devotees offered Kala Archana: presenting music, dance, and cultural expressions full of devotion and gratitude. Thousands received Amma’s darshan, embracing her message of love, compassion, and inner strength.

Brahmacharini Amrita Chaitanya, born in Britain, now lives in Amritapuri. At Amma’s side, she spoke on a deeper level about how Amma has shown her that the source of true harmony is already within each one of us. To truly live a life of love and selfless service, we must first become at peace with ourselves—a lesson she has learned through personal experiences.

“By following the whims of our self-centeredness, we don’t just hurt others, we do the greatest disservice to ourselves. The greatest harm—the harm that underlies all other harms—is that of seeing ourselves as separate.

“It is our narrow sense of ‘me’ and ‘mine’ that creates division, giving rise to fear, anger, jealousy, selfishness, inferiority and superiority complexes,” she humbly shared.

Bri Amrita Chaitanya spoke about how Amma has transformed her within

“Amma’s every glance, every word, every gesture is a blessing. It is not possible for Amma to harm in any way, because she is free from all sense of separation. In her vision, the entire world is part of herself.

“Everything Amma does—her every breath—is to lift each of us toward that same state of pure love, that oneness with all of creation.”

Giving a glimpse of that experience of the Divine, Amma conducted special prayers for world peace and harmony on the third day. Leading meditation, she reminded the gathering that most problems originate in the mind and that inner peace is the foundation for lasting solutions.

Following the London programs, Amma traveled to the Netherlands, the last stop of her 2025 Europe Tour
