On November 15th, Amma arrived at MA Centre Hof Herrenberg in Brombachtal, Germany, for the following three days of her programs there. A large group of children eagerly ran onto the stage to sit near her, singing bhajans with innocent joy as she smiled and clapped along.
A former horse ranch in the rolling hills of central Germany, the MA Center’s tranquil rural atmosphere offered the perfect setting for Amma’s visit. Surrounded by fields, fresh air, and open skies, the entire space seemed to welcome her presence with serenity and happiness.
The following morning, Amma was received in a traditional German way—with beautiful evergreen and flower arches held high by smiling devotees lined up in perfect formation. Musicians performed lively folk tunes, offered with devotion and love.
The inauguration ceremony was blessed by several distinguished guests. On the first day, Mr Andreas Koch, Mayor of Brombachtal, welcomed Amma to the peaceful countryside community surrounded by the ancient forests of Odenwald.
“If you could stand up here and see this—so many smiling faces, so many people who have made the long journey to Brombachtal—it is an incredible site for me,” he said.
“One thing Amma and I have in common is the desire to help young people learn to master the challenges of the future that weigh on this world in a democracy and in peaceful coexistence.
“This afternoon, I will be standing in the cemetery of Langen-Brombach, and we will commemorate the many people who fell in the First and Second World Wars. They are a warning that war is not the way to live on this beautiful Earth.”
He continued, “Amma also showed me everything she has achieved. And that naturally makes you feel small. She showed how many villages she has already led into a future or given a future at all. And so I said, ‘Yes, I will do the same thing she does globally, locally with our five villages here.’ I want to end by saying, I do my very best.”

Ms Martina Merz, a leading figure in European business, also expressed gratitude to Amma. She is a mechanical engineer who was CEO of ThyssenKrupp AG, one of Germany’s most traditional industrial companies. Committed to social responsibility and uplifting our world’s youth, she has been voted one of the 100 most influential women in the world by Forbes Magazine.
She said, “It is a great honour for me to be here today. Perhaps the greatest honour of my life. As you can imagine, I spent many years working with India through the companies I worked for, and I saw how a very large country is developing rapidly and how young people are taking control of their lives and want to make their homeland a better place.”
Ms Merz then shared how in a time of great conflict, India’s ancient vision of a world united in peace gives her hope.
“This greater commonality is the love that connects us, the respect that connects us, the will to understand each other, and the firm determination not to use weapons against each other. I would also like to thank you for doing this.”

His Excellency, Mr Ajit Gupte, Ambassador of India to Germany, was another distinguished guest. He shared how it was an honour for him to receive Amma for the fourth time.
“Amma is not just a spiritual figure, she is a human force. Her message is one of welcome, love, and selfless action. People have all come together through a passion for Amma, a spirit of service, because her organization brings many activities for social development and helping the poor,” he said.
“Amma has often said that love through action is the highest form of prayer. This idea resonates across cultures and religions. When we speak of seva, the principle remains the same.”
On the final day in Brombachtal, AYUDH, our youth movement, held an event to thank Amma for guiding them to become compassionate world leaders. They welcomed her by waving national flags and releasing red, white, and pink heart-shaped balloons as they sang with all their hearts.
Responding to their love and respect, Amma encouraged them to discover their true inner potential and to become a light unto themselves first so they may better serve society.

Also reflecting Amma’s vision came the words of Andreas Hirsch, one of the founders of AYUDH Europe, a chapter of our youth movement that began in 2005. By her side, he delivered an address about how Amma leads all of us to see the light that shines eternally within.
“You are the Light. Du bist das Licht. These words express a central principle of Sanatana Dharma–the Eternal Wisdom–one of the oldest spiritual traditions of humanity. Just as in Christianity, it says that every human being carries the divine light within,” he shared.
“Amma encourages us not to be afraid of darkness, but to kindle the light of hope, optimism and love, and to move forward with courage. For her there is no hopeless situation. She sees the good in everything. She sums up her unshakable optimism in a sentence she often repeats: ‘Even a broken clock shows the correct time twice a day.’”

Throughout the three days, Amma led satsang, bhajans, a guided meditation, and Atma Puja for world peace, offering solace and strength to all who attended. She also sang a German bhajan, filling the hall with emotion as many sang along through tears.
During darshan, many approached Amma to clarify their spiritual doubts and seek solutions to life’s problems. One young man said he was addicted to electronic gadgets and had been wasting time on games, cinema, and other unhealthy videos for years. “How do I come out of it?” he asked.
Amma gave simple, practical advice: “Take a vow that once a week I will not touch any of the gadgets.” Receiving this guidance, he walked away happy and confident.

Every evening, Amma concluded darshan with a few gentle dance steps, filling the hall with laughter and divine playfulness.
On the final night, as she stepped into the camper at the end of the program, soft snowflakes began to fall—an ethereal farewell from the heavens.
With hearts overflowing, devotees watched Amma depart for the United Kingdom, carrying her message of peace and compassion to the next destination of her European tour.
