After the three-day program in Piacenza near Milan, Amma travelled to the MA Centre in Italy, located an hour and a half away in the small town of Gavi, Piemonte. It was inaugurated on June 27, 2022, and this was Amma’s first visit.
Nearby, there is a neighbourhood church. Just as the door of Amma’s camper opened and she stepped out, its bell rang three times. Those awaiting Amma’s arrival felt as if the entire village, including all of its natural surroundings, had come to welcome divinity in the form of a universal mother.
Spread across 20 hectares, the MA Center is nestled in the serene environment of Località Nebbiolo—about 60 km north of Genoa. The breathtaking landscape is complemented by the region’s rich cultural heritage, home to several medieval forts and castles that stand as proud symbols of ancient Italian history.
In the evening, when Amma came out for meditation and prasad distribution, a particularly touching moment unfolded—an elderly woman, the former owner of the MA Centre property, approached Amma and offered her a flower. Amma lovingly blessed her before sitting in meditation with the gathered devotees.
Later, Amma distributed prasad to everyone. As she sang bhajans, the atmosphere filled with devotion and joy, with devotees clapping rhythmically and singing along with deep enthusiasm.
After a memorable and heartwarming evening at the MA Center in Italy, Amma departed for her next program at the MA Center in Brombachtal, Germany.
