Swami Amritaswarupananda Puri, Amma’s most senior disciple and Vice-Chair of Mata Amritanandamayi Math, arrived in Bahrain on April 28th to spend three days with Amma’s devotees. Mata Amritanandamayi Seva Samiti (MASS Bahrain) hosted Swamiji’s visit, which included house calls and a meditation retreat at Bahrain Media City on April 30.
Kanematsu Koichi is a certified teacher who led sessions to introduce Integrated Amrita Meditation Technique (IAM). Created by Amma, it is a simple and powerful meditation that instills stress management and holistic well-being.
Later that evening, the BMC Auditorium Segaya was filled with the spirit of Amritavarsham 2024. Hundreds of enthusiastic participants were deeply moved by Swamiji’s soul-stirring satsang and bhajans. This reflected the community’s deep reverence for and gratitude to Amma as their Guru.
Mr. Sudheer Thirunilath, Coordinator of MASS Bahrain, thanked all contributors and acknowledged their collective efforts. Ultimately, the celebration was more than just an event; it strengthened hope, unity, and spiritual awakening for Amma’s devotees in the region.
