Join us at MA Center Atlanta on Aug 25th for Sri Krishna Jayanthi Celebrations. Br. Ramanand will lead us as we spend the afternoon filled with fun, games, prayer and devotional fervor.
Schedule
2:00pm - 5:30pm - Special Satsang with Krishna Bhajans and Celebrations of the Birth of Lord Krishna
5:30pm - 6:30pm: Procession, Games (Uri Adi, Tug of war etc (for Adults and children alike) and other games.
6:30pm: Dinner
The Birth of Lord Krishna is a very special ceremony. The idol of baby Krishna is brought and then rocked in a cradle. A popular belief is that any wish made while rocking the cradle is fulfilled on this day. The entire Ashram echoes with the sound of the conch (shankh) and ringing of bells. Devotees pray and welcome the lord with lively bhajans and chants.
