By a Wing and a Prayer ~ How We Can Help Our Bees and Butterflies Survive and Thrive

Workshop on Saturday, April 26, 2014 | 1:00  - 3:00 pm | Satsang Hall
We are losing great numbers of the bees and butterflies that pollinate our food crops, trees, and flowers. Without the help of bees and other pollinators, a full 1/3 of our food will disappear.
Yet there is hope. Green Friends member Mahana will give a short overview of what is happening and the different causes. She will also share a bit about the MA Centers' journey so far into beekeeping using natural methods.
Most important, we will cover key details and easy ways in which we can richly support the health and survival of our bee and butterfly allies. We'll also learn how to avoid the common mistakes people make, so we can help restore these important and beautiful creatures.
This event is free, but donations to MA Center Chicago are always welcome.
