Welcome!

About us

Members of Amma Satsang of Minnesota are Amma's children from all over the world. They have contributed towards our Satsang in various ways.

Satsang

We have a monthly Satsang held at one of our members' residence in the local Minneapolis area. We welcome you to join us for a monthly Satsang happening on Saturday evening from 3pm to 7pm (last week Saturday of the month). We usually gather at a Satsang member's residence to celebrate Amma's example of Love and Service, and teachings through Prayer, Bhajans, Arati and sharing in a vegetarian potluck meal. We also participate in various community service projects.

Seva Activities

Members of MN Satsang are involved in Seva activities all year long for the following organizations:

  • Collecting and donating winter clothing and accessories for the needy.
  • Preparing and dropping off cold meals for the residents of Simpson Shelter, Minneapolis.
  • Assembling food for underprivileged around the world at Feed My Starving.
  • Food, Clothing, and Toiletries Drive for Interfaith Outreach.
  • Blanket Drive "Share the Warmth" for the homeless under United Way - Twin Cities
  • Laundry Pod Assembly and Drive for underprivileged families under United Way- Twin Cities.
  • Volunteering to assemble staple food for the community assisting low-income households at Second Harvest Heartland.
  • Planting new trees for the South Saint Paul community during fall. This vital addition to the forest canopy will mitigate carbon emissions, filter air and water, and give shade on hot summer days for years to come.
  • Assembling "SCHOOL SUPPLY PACKS" which were distributed to local nonprofits and school districts for Elementary school children. These donations help level the playing field for students in our community.
  • MN Ayudh group organized a bake sale and collected $400 as donation towards the Ayudh Relief drive.
