Guru Purnima Celebration
The Amma Center of New Mexico will be holding our Guru Purnima celebration this Tuesday evening at the Amma Center temple starting at 6:00 pm. Guru Purnima happens each year on the full Moon day in July. It honors the special role Amma plays in our lives as the Guru, She who removes the darkness of ignorance by opening our hearts and expanding our consciousness. We will celebrate with a special satsang talk and bhajans dedicated to the Guru, and we will all meet in the ashram afterwards for appetizers.

The daily ashram routine includes archana (chanting of the 108 Names of Amma and the 1000 Names of the Divine Mother), meditation, seva (volunteering or service) and bhajans (devotional singing).
The Santa Fe Satsang meets on Saturday nights, from at 5:00pm-7:30pm in the temple. Arrive by 4:15pm if you would like to chant the 1000 names of Sri Lalita before Satsang begins.
