Welcome to the Arvada Satsang
Our satsang meets online on Zoom, every month on the third Tuesday. We begin with chat time at 7:40 pm mountain time, then we start with the 108 Names of Amma at 8PM, followed by a short reading, chanting of 108 Shanti mantras for world peace, bhajans (devotional signings), and close with arati and a short meditation, ending by 9 pm.
This spring we have resumed our in-person satsang, from several cities around the Denver area, on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 5:30 pm MDT, at Dhanya's home in Arvada.
For more information, subscribe to our Amma Colorado monthly newsletter with Amma Groups, or call Dhanya at 303-467-2077 for more information.
We are involved in several long-time service projects:
- Mother's Kitchen at the Boulder Shelter where we purchase, prepare and serve 160 meals for the homeless each month. This program has been meeting consistently for over a decade.
- The Burrito Project in Lakewood where 200 sack lunches are assembled and delivered to the homeless in downtown Denver.
- Several of our members volunteer to teach meditation in the Boulder County Jail. Many of us sign on for helping with Amma's tour in Albuquerque each summer, according to individual time, skills and preference.
