Bri. Shobana, PhD, award-winning yoga practitioner and Director of Amrita Yoga since 2004, is offering Amrita Yoga classes at the MA Center in Potomac Maryland. The Amrita Yoga classes will include asana classes, breathing and meditation, a 2 day Yoga retreat for adults and Private Yoga Therapy sessions. For more information email amritayogadc@gmail.com.

$125 for both days $35 per night for overnight accommodations. Attendance both days is mandatory

PRIVATE YOGA THERAPY SESSIONS - $45

 

Heart-centered private yoga therapy sessions will help identify areas of healing, promote greater mind/body awareness and provide a gentle restorative practice. Ideal for those recovering from any form of illness or injury.

5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Breath & Balance.
​Discover true balance through breath. Breath helps us tune with our innate intelligence and expresses our perfection in posture. Thus, balance in posture is an inside-out approach.

Friday April 27th

8:30 am – 9:45 am Amrita Yoga for Seniors.
Heart-centered gentle yoga for adults 55 and older to improve and maintain flexibility, balance, promote inner and outer core awareness.

Saturday April 28th

4:45 pm – 5:15 pm Amrita Yoga for Kids - $10.
Movement, story-telling, games, song, and dance are used to introduce kids and youth ages 5 – 17 to yoga. Yoga at an early age encourages self-esteem and body awareness.
