Navaratri, or Nine days of the Devi and Vijayadashami will be celebrated from Tuesday, October 9th through Wednesday, October 17th.
The word Navaratri means 'nine nights' in Sanskrit. During these nine nights and ten days, three days each are devoted to honoring the different forms of the divine mother, Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati.
Vijayadashami, the 10th day is traditionally an auspicious time for starting new ventures. Puja to for your instruments, books etc. will start at 7 am.

Swami Dayamritananda Puri will explore the 'Srimad Bhagavatam' written by Bhagawan Vyasa, the compiler of the Vedas. The format for the class is a short meditation and spiritual discourse, followed by a few Bhajans led by Swamiji and Arati.
