Saturday at MA Center

First full Saturday program after the break for Amma’s Tour. Make a day of it! Join us in any of the activities or just for the evening program.

Movie Night:

MA Center welcomes Amma’s volunteers and traveling tour staff home to the Bay Area with an “Amma’s family” movie night! After a wonderful summer with Amma, let’s all get together and enjoy popcorn and chai, connect with friends and community members, and watch Pixar’s “Coco,” which celebrates the importance of remembering family members near and far away.

SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY:

10:00 am - 4:30 pm: Seva (Service projects): Visit macenterseva.org to check details.
3:00 pm - 4:00 pm: *Guided IAM-35 Meditation (Main House Puja Room)
                                *Group Vedic Chanting (Amrita Hall)
4:30 pm - 5:30 pm: Group chanting 1000 Names of the Divine Mother       
5:30 pm - 6:00 pm: Break for chai & snack (Bake sale, proceeds benefit Amma’s charities)                  
6:00 pm - 7:00pm:  108 Names of Amma, Satsang (or) video of Amma, Bhajans, Arati and Closing Prayers
7:15 pm: Vegetarian dinner, snacks and movie

Note:
- *Guided IAM-35 Meditation: Only for those who have already taken the complete 8-hour IAM-35 course.
- *Vedic Chanting: Chanting the Pancha Suktams, Mantra Pushpam and Sri Rudram in unison to recordings as a way to practice and learn. Please bring your own books.
- Bake Sale benefitting Amma’s charities opens at 5:30 pm.
