C20 999 Challenge Group Day 1 Practice with Swamini: in-person & virtual

Jun 10, 2023 4:30pm-5:30pm (ended)

Swamini Ambikamrita Prana will lead a group practice session on Saturday, June 10th as part of the C20 999 Challenge. The practice will include modifications of the Surya Namaskar for men, women and chair poses. Use this group practice session to kick off your participation in the challenge or for some group motivation if you’ve already started the challenge earlier in the week. We will have a 2nd event the following Saturday, June 17th to practice together on Day 8 of the challenge.

Live on the MA Center San Ramon YouTube Channel.

The C20 Integrated Holistic Health Working Group’s 999 challenge aims to highlight how yoga and meditation can have a major impact on mental health and physical well being. Participants of the challenge have reported experiencing positive changes in their outlook, energy levels and overall sense of well-being. This, in turn, contributes to an atmosphere of peace within their schools and families.

The challenge is to practice 9 rounds of Surya Namaskar and 9 minutes of meditation for world peace daily for 9 days. At the end of the challenge, reflect on the impact it has made on your life.
The goal is to reach as many people around the world by #InternationalYogaDay, June 21st.

You can register at ihhc20.org/999 to receive the instructions to then continue the 9 day challenge on your own.
