Pongal Festival Satsang at MACC
Amma says that Creator and Creation are not two, but one – the Divine exists in and through all of Creation. Pongal reminds us of this truth, and provides an opportunity for human beings to express their gratitude to Mother Nature for all her generous gifts. Join us for our annual Pongal celebration, which will include a talk on the significance of Pongal, a Pongal ceremony, and a Pongal cultural program. Here's the schedule:
4:00 - 5:00 pm - Archana (chanting of the divine names)
5:00 - 5:45 pm - Talk on Pongal followed by Pongal ceremony
5:45 - 7:00 pm - Bhajans, arati, meditation, closing prayers, and distribution of prasad
7:00 - 7:45 pm - Pongal cultural program
After the cultural program, a delicious vegetarian meal will be available for a modest donation. For any questions about participation in this or other MA Center Chicago activities, please contact us at chicago@macenters.org or 630-387-5077. For information about on-site accommodations, please email macclodging@macenters.org
