Scholarships for 100,000 Children

We are working to provide 100,00 scholarships for children living below the poverty line throughout India.

School for the Speech- and Hearing-Impaired

ASHIS is a school dedicated to scientifically teaching hearing-impaired children to speak. More than 120 children attend the school.

Technical School for 500 Disadvantaged Youth

Founded in 1989, our Industrial Training Centre provides training for 500 teenagers. 11 trades are taught, with a graduation rate above 80%.

Award-Winning Adult Education

We run literacy and vocational training programs for adults, serving the poorest tribal communities in Idukki, Kerala and Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu.

In her free time, this scholarship recipient tutors poor children free of charge.
Fighting Farmer Suicide

The bulk of our scholarships target communities afflicted by the farmer suicide epidemic.
Vocational Training in Kenya

At our care home for children in Kenya, we provide training in computing for young adults from the slums.
Tutoring for Tribal Children

Our afterschool centers for tribal children work to provide supplementary support they won't receive at home.
School for Traditional Arts

In 2009, we launched an institute dedicated to reviving the endangered traditional craft of wood carving.
School for Differently Abled

Our programs provide differently-abled children with basic life skills and fundamental concepts.
Scholarships in Kenya

In 2009, Amma personally distributed school supplies and scholarships to 54 disadvantaged children.
