In December 2024, Amma bestowed her blessings upon her Iowa devotees with the establishment of a new MA Center in the heart of downtown Fairfield, Iowa. We are thrilled to create another Midwest center—serving as a sanctuary for spiritual seekers and a hub for community service, extending its impact both locally and globally.
Schedule & Details
Location: 51 N. Court St, Fairfield.
Program is held the first Sunday of each month.
Time: 2pm to 4pm
General Description of Program
- Welcome, Introductions & Announcements
- Opening prayers, followed by chanting.
- A short reading or a spiritual talk (satsang) by a fellow seeker.
- Devotional Singing or Bhajans.
- Silent group meditation.
- Chanting for world peace.
- Arati.
- Closing Prayers, followed by Prasad or sacred offerings.
Archana Chanting is held every Friday night at our Center, from 7-8pm. All are welcome!
A potluck meal, followed by an Amma themed movie or video is held the 3rd Sunday of each month, starting at 1pm. Come and share in an uplifting afternoon of fellowship and inspiration!
Seva or Selfless Service
Our primary service project is supporting our local soup kitchen, Golden Magnolia Sanctuary, which provides free or low cost vegan meals to the community 3 nights a week. Our satsang members help with food prep and serving. Future service projects are being developed as we grow in our new spiritual home.
