Welcome to the Iowa Amma Center, located in Homestead, Iowa, approx. 15 miles west of Iowa City and a half mile north of I-80. Nestled among corn fields, fruit trees, vegetable & flower gardens, under vibrant blue skies and the auspicious gaze of a small herd of cows, the Center sits on 12 beautiful acres of land. The Center holds year-round events and regular spiritual gatherings including:
- Visits from Amma's senior disciples featuring Homas, Pujas, and Satsangs. We also host quarterly Meditation Retreats, and regular chanting, devotional singing, spiritual talks, meditation, and seva days where devotees can enjoy the wonderful setting while helping with the upkeep of the property

The Amma Center of Iowa planted its initial orchard in 2013 but this spring, have added 6 more fruit trees and also planted about 25 Colorado Blue Spruce to act as a hedgerow and also a bit of a privacy fence. We know how Amma loves us to plant trees.
