To face different situations in life with presence of mind and mental poise, first we have to train the mind.
Where there is concentration, there is harmony. Happiness is derived from concentration of the mind. Whatever we focus on we will become that.
What we need is peace of mind. We can gain that only through the control of our mind.
An artist paints with focus; the painting becomes complete only through ekagrata (one-pointedness). Similarly, whatever is our goal, we need focus on that to make it complete.
If we continuously maintain Self-awareness, we will be able to experience peace and happiness.
Love is the most natural thing for humans. We should perform all our actions, remaining focused on love.
When karma (action) is performed with awareness and compassion as its driving force, it accelerates one’s spiritual journey.
We should acquire control of the mind and possess the power to stop it, like the brakes of a new car reduce the speed and stop the vehicle whenever necessary.
