Celebrate Lord Krishna's birthday with Br. Ramanand

Krishna Jayanthi Program:

• 4:30 PM - Nagara Sankeerthanam:
  Procession with Krishna murthis and Bhagavad Gita books. Please bring your Krishna murthi or your copy of the Bhagavad Gita for the procession. Children may dress as Krishna or Radha for the celebration.
• 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM - Uriyadi Games ('Breaking the Pot'):
  Men, women, and children take turns trying to break a pot filled with treats that is hung from a tree using a pulley. The pot is raised and lowered when the participant makes a dash to break it, all while water is being sprayed on them. This game reminds us how fun-filled Vrindavan was with Krishna trying to break pots and steal butter.
• 7:30 PM - Dinner
• 8:30 PM - 12:00 AM - Satsang and Bhajans with Ramanandji:
  Meditation, chanting, spiritual discourse, and bhajans (devotional songs) with Br. Ramanand, one of Amma's longtime monastic disciples.
• 12:00 AM - Celebrating Krishna's Birth:
  With chanting, ringing of bells, and blowing the conch, followed by rocking baby Krishna in the cradle.
