About Us

What is Seva

'Seva' is a word from Sanskrit, one of the ancient languages of India. Seva is best translated as “selfless service.” This kind of service is done simply for the wellbeing of others and the world, without intending any personal gain or benefit.

Serve
Help with a special event or serve on a regular basis. There are many opportunities to volunteer, to serve, at your local Center, or in your community. Start with a few scheduled shifts for special events. If it works for you can take on planning and leadership tasks as you go. As you gain experience consider whether you might be able to serve by coordinating a team.

Grow
Connect with others in the community - connect with your spiritual side - connect with nature. Come together with the community, with your family! Make a lasting difference with your service.
