Saturday Satsang & Navaratri Lakshmi Puja by Swamini - In Person & Virtual

Oct 1, 2022 5:30pm-8:00pm (ended)

5:30 PM Pacific Time

Replay available for 24 hours

This Saturday's program will combine Satsang talk by community members followed by Navaratri Lakshmi Puja by Swamini, Bhajans and Arati.

‘Amma’s Jewels of Wisdom’ Satsang Series continues
The Summer of 1984 in Amritapuri was a remarkable period. Speaking to a small group of disciples and guests, Amma imparted deep wisdom, along with practical, step-by-step instructions for spiritual practice. Amma’s jewels of wisdom from that summer are being presented as a series of Satsangs.

This week’s topic is The Five Steps of Prayer: In this Satsang we will explore our own Swami Dayamritananda Puri’s teaching on prayer. Combining his steps with Amma’s teaching on each topic, this will be the culmination of our Satsang series on praying and crying to God.

Please note that we will be observing all of the protocols specified by the MA Center Board. We request you to remember that the health and safety of all who wish to attend the program should remain uppermost in our minds and hearts. Everyone attending should wear properly fitted masks (N/KN95 recommended) and social distancing is required. If you feel at all sick, have a fever, or have been exposed to anyone who tests positive for Covid-19, please do not attend.
Please review all of the safety protocols below.

Schedule:

  • Satsang
  • Navaratri Lakshmi Puja by Swamini Ambikamrita Prana
  • Bhajans (devotional songs)
  • Arati and closing prayers

Prayer list: please submit the names of people to be added by 7:00 PM on Friday at: https://bit.ly/SRPrayerList
