New Year's Day Retreat with Br. Dayamrita Chaitanya

Start the New Year with a full day retreat at MA Center, San Ramon led by Br. Dayamrita Chaitanya, one of Amma’s senior disciples. The Retreat provides time for introspection, prayer, and meditation. This is a wonderful opportunity to further deepen our spiritual practice and knowledge for the new year.

Schedule:
The day begins with an early morning Archana (1,000 Names of the Divine Mother), followed by gentle yoga and Manasa Puja (guided visualization of worship). There will also be scripture class, group discussions, a delicious vegetarian lunch, Q&A session and bhajans with Br. Dayamrita Chaitanya, and more.
7:30 am - 8:30 am: Archana followed by brief individual meditation
8:40 am: Registration
9:00 am - 9:45 am: Gentle Yoga
10:00 am - 1:00 pm: Manasa Puja and Meditation, Scripture Class, Discussion Groups and Journaling/Silent Contemplation
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Lunch and Video, Seva, Silent Walking and/or Contemplation (individual)
3:00 pm - 5:00 pm: Q&A Session, Meditation
5:00 pm - 6:00 pm: Bhajans (open to public)

Swami Dayamritananda Puri will explore the 'Srimad Bhagavatam' written by Bhagawan Vyasa, the compiler of the Vedas. The format for the class is a short meditation and spiritual discourse, followed by a few Bhajans led by Swamiji and Arati.
