Homa for Departed Souls
Tila Homa for Departed Souls
Amma has requested that Homas (special fire ceremonies) for the Departed Souls of her devotees be performed periodically. In keeping with Amma’s wish, a Tila Homa for the deceased will be performed by Bri. Rema Devi on Saturday, May 4, on the porch of Amrita Hall at MA Center San Ramon, beginning at 8:00am. Registration is not required to attend.
During this Homa, we will be praying for the souls of devotees who have passed away and also for the souls of immediate family members of devotees who have passed away. Since the Forever Blessed memorial is for deceased North American devotees and their immediate family members, you may include a deceased family member for Sankalpa (special intentions), for this sacred ceremony.
No registration fee for Tila Homa for deceased devotees or immediate family members of devotees. To sign up for this option, or for information about the Forever Blessed memorial, please send an email to: ForeverBlessed@macenters.org
Additional Homas being performed - Registration required
Note: all puja payments are considered as donations.
During the ceremony, Ganapati and Maha Ganapati homas will also be performed for devotees who would like a special intention for these homas. And Tila Homa for non-devotees is also available for registration.
Registration donation is required for Sankalpa (Special Intentions) for Ganapathy and Maha Ganapathy homas, as well as for Tila Homa for non-devotees. All donations support Amma’s charities.
