Many thousands of guests attend our SoCal Amma program, and as our program has grown, so has our need for volunteers.  YOU are an integral part of Amma’s visit to SoCal.  We warmly welcome any amount of time you are able to contribute!

 

This event belongs to YOU.  That’s right—the people who work every aspect of this event are all volunteers like you and me.  Amma brings us together and through our collective efforts, shows us how our seemingly small actions like veggie chopping or washing dishes can benefit everyone.

There are countless ways to volunteer.  Here are just a few: 

 

Hungry? We will feed you: our Kitchen Team grows to 600 people a day.  Every veggie that is shopped for, washed, chopped, served, the pots and silverware scrubbed clean—all of these tasks are accomplished by volunteers.   

 

Thirsty? We will hydrate you: The Water Table Team constantly refills those 5 gallon water jugs so drinking water is available for all.

 

Are you a little lost? The Host Greeters are the warm and welcoming bunch that can answer questions about the program and hand you a program guide.  

 

Do you have an Inner Geek? AV (Audiovisual) Team lays thousands of feet of cable, sets up monitors, sound systems, and digital signage so that attendees stay connected to the Main Program Hall if they are elsewhere in the venue.  

 

And that’s just a small sampling of the volunteer positions open….there are so many more!

 

Everyone has the opportunity to experience the Bliss of Selfless Service (Seva) with Amma.  We have many Sevas you can sign up for onsite that are only one hour.
