Amma Center of NM Temple Getting a Makeover

The temple at the Amma Center of NM is getting a makeover!
The expansion of the Amma Center temple hall is now happening. In the photos you can see concrete for the new room and portal.
The addition includes bathrooms, a new entry, a bookstore room, an additional meeting space and a coved outdoor portal.
Many years ago, the outdoor area in front of the temple was blessed by a puja conducted by Swami Ramakrishnananda Puri during his yearly visit.
Next to come will be the posts for the portal, and the trusses for the new roof. The interior of the Temple Hall is getting a makeover as well with a new altar, 2 sacred statues, which will be visible when the doors to the new space are open to allow more seating.
It is an exciting time!
