Welcome to the Temple Satsang

Amma first came to New Hampshire in 1988 where she held morning programs in the two car garage of a private home and evening programs/Devi Bhava at the Peterborough Town Hall.

Amma’s first two East Coast Retreats were held in Temple in 1989 and 1990. Currently devotees are few in the Monadnock Region and we are eager to establish a monthly satsang in varied locations as devotees cover a wide geographic region. If you would like to host a satsang please call the number below to make arrangements. Consider traveling to the satsang in the manner of Amma herself.

Our satsang is held once a month on the second Sunday at 4 pm. Please contact us for specific satsang dates and times.

Satsang includes the recitation of the 108 Names of Amma, reading, bhajans (devotional songs), arati (waving of the light), meditation followed by a vegetarian potluck dinner.

For directions, please use the map on this page. It will lead you to a Google map. For more information, please send us an email or feel free to call: 561-329-7600.

We are also part of a regional group called the New England Satangs and will be opening an M.A. Center of New England this coming Fall in Boylston, Massachusetts.

We also gather to do humanitarian projects throughout the region, such as feeding the hungry, planting community gardens, outreach to prisoners. You are more than welcome to come help us with any of these charitable activities.
