Navaratri Celebrations
Vijayadashami
Vijayadashami day is traditionally an auspicious time for starting new ventures. We will celebrate Vijayadashami Friday, September 29, after the arati and before the Garba Raas. A book you are studying, or a tool, or a musical instrument you want to learn, can be brought from Monday, September 25, onwards and placed on the altar to be blessed. The book or instrument should be wrapped or covered.
At Vijayadashimi you will unwrap the item and read a few lines from the book or play a few notes on the instrument.
Garba Raas
Garba Raas is the traditional dance celebration of the Navaratri Festival. All are welcome to come and participate!
