4 Ways You Can Help with Amma's Atlanta Tour

How can I help?

1)  You can invite your friends, family and co-workers. At the end of this message is an introduction to Amma with links for more information. You can email the introduction along with the attached flyer to all those in your circle that may be interested in meeting Amma. You could customize the introduction by sharing some of your own experiences with Amma.

2) Facebook & Twitter - Post or tweet the attached flyer and program web link.  Regularly post about matters related to Amma's upcoming visit - mention your seva (volunteer) assignments (e.g., "So excited to be a Greeter at Amma's programs"), or send countdown messages (e.g., "Amma will be here in 6 days, 3 days,") !

Join our Facebook page and share tour related posts on your page. Use the event page to invite your friends to the program.

3) Print the  flyer and place in businesses you frequent.  You know best where to find more people like you. You could also join the neighborhood website nextdoor.com and post the event to your local and adjoining neighborhoods.

4) Post the event to online calendars associated with websites like-minded people may visit.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you at the programs!

Amma, meaning Mother, offers her unique motherly embrace, known as her darshan, to every person who comes to meet her. For more than 40 years, she has personally blessed 36 million people and has been known to give darshan for over 22 hours without interruption. Many express feeling unconditional love and total acceptance  for the first time in their lives, when hugged by Amma.

You are invited to receive Amma's personal blessing and experience the love, grace and compassion that she embodies. When people pour their hearts out to Amma, she offers them emotional solace, spiritual guidance, and concrete solutions to their problems.

After meeting Amma, actor Jim Carrey tweeted: “I was feeling down about life ‘n’ love.  Then I met a woman named Ammachi and she gave me back my smile.  Darkness can not compete with her.”

When supermodel, Gisele received Amma’s darshan, she posted, “What a honor to meet Amma, one of the most inspiring women in the world. Amma, thank you for all the love and compassion you share.”

“What Amma has intuited, or was born knowing, is that everyone wants to be loved and that everyone is worthy of love. Like a Mother she loves unconditionally and serves expediently.” - Russell Brand, actor and activist

The extensive network of Amma’s humanitarian projects, Embracing the World,  can be found in 30 countries and has developed a reputation for outstanding disaster-relief work and humanitarian activities.

Through Embracing the World, Amma has provided millions of dollars in humanitarian aid and disaster relief for every major global disaster over the past 10 years. These include the South Asian Tsunami, Hurricane Katrina, the Haiti Earthquake, the Japanese Tsunami, and the Philippines Typhoon. Disaster relief efforts were also carried out in many flooded areas of India, and in areas of Japan and Nepal that were affected by earthquakes.

The MA Center Atlanta welcomes everyone. The Center holds regular spiritual fellowship gatherings (satsang) and all are invited to participate. Additionally, volunteers at the Center and across the Southeast prepare meals for homeless shelters and collect food and socks for local pantries and shelters. Youth volunteers recently held a workshop on sustainable gardening and made blessing bags containing toiletries and snacks for shelter residents.
