Saturday Seva Projects

Volunteers soak up sunshine on a Seva Saturday

On Saturdays, the center is bustling with volunteers. With nearly 180 acres, the property requires all kinds of ongoing attention and care. The orchards and gardens offer a great opportunity to spend the day outdoors in nature. In the AIMS warehouse, volunteers sort and pack donated medical supplies for shipment to hospitals in India. Several teams of volunteers maintain Amrita Hall, keep The Amma Shop going, and prepare snacks and a vegetarian lunch that is offered each Saturday. There are also countless opportunities for people with computer, writing and photography skills, as well as for those with knowledge in construction.

All are welcome to join us any Saturday for a day of service and an evening of devotion. See more >
