Saturday Seva (Selfless Service): 9:30 am – 4:30 pm, Contact: Seva

     Activities include: sorting donated medical supplies for India, helping in the bookstore, gardening & orchard work, and many special projects. Lunch is provided. Come for any part or all of the day! 

Guided IAM Meditation: 3:00 - 4:00 pm, Main House Puja Room, Only for those who have taken the full IAM course.

Onam Festival & Ganesh Visarjana Program: Onam is a Kerala Harvest Festival and Ganesh Visarjana is the culmination of Ganesh Chaturthi. The symbolism of the Ganesh immersion ceremony is that all forms are temporary, having both their origin and final destination in the formless Absolute.

  2:00 PM: Pookalam (flower carpet design on Amrita Hall Porch – all hands welcome!)

  4:30 PM:  Archana, Chanting of the Sri Lalitha Sahasranama - 1,000 Names of the Divine Mother

  5:30 PM: 108 Names of Amma

  5:45 PM:  Onam welcome by a special guest, Mahabali

  6:00 PM:  Ganesh Visarjana, Procession down to the ashram pond to immerse the Ganesh murthis

  7:00 PM: Bhajans & Arati

  8:30 PM: Onam Sadhya - Traditonal Kerala Dinner
