Navaratri Puja and Bhajans

September 24 – October 2: Navaratri, Wednesday to the following Thursday in Amrita Hall

The word Navaratri means 'nine nights' in Sanskrit. During these nine nights and ten days, three days each are devoted to honoring Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati.

Navaratri is traditionally an auspicious time for starting new ventures. The tenth day on Friday, October 3rd, is the Vijayadasami Puja, representing the day of victory.

DURGA PUJA:

•  Wednesday September 24th, 7:30 PM, Puja, Bhajans & Arati

•  Thursday September 25th,  7:30 PM, Puja, Bhajans & Arati

•  Friday September 26th, 7:00 PM Puja, Bhajans & Arati (Note earlier time)

LAKSHMI PUJA:

•  Saturday September 27th,  Amma's Birthday Celebration, All Day Event including 5:30 - 8:30 PM Satsang, Puja, Bhajans & Arati

•  Sunday September 28th, 7:30 PM Puja, Bhajans & Arati

•  Monday September 29th, 7:30 PM Puja, Bhajans & Arati

SARAWATI PUJA:

•  Tuesday September 30th, 7:30 PM Puja, Bhajans & Arati 

•  Wednesday October 1st, 7:30 PM Puja, Bhajans & Arati **Devotees offer Books, other items on Stage for Saraswati Puja for blessing

•  Thursday October 2nd, 7:30 PM Puja, Bhajans & Arati 

VIJAYADASAMI PUJA:

Vijayadasami - Day of Victory, Friday October 3rd, 7:00 – 8:00 AM Puja and Prasad, Final Morning of Navaratri
