Amrita Silent Retreat Immersion - 7 day Meditation Retreat

Sep 1, 2017 3:00pm to Sep 8, 2017 1:00pm

“Only in the depth of pure silence can we hear God’s voice.” - Amma

We live in a world of turbulence and turmoil, constantly bombarded by the chatter of our gadgets and minds. Understanding our need to shut out this noise and experience the deep inner peace and joy that is our true nature, Amma has urged her disciples in the USA to conduct extended silent meditation retreats.

MA Center San Ramon is offering a week-long Silent Retreat from Fri. September 1 to Fri., September 8. Amma’s North American based disciples, Br. Dayamrita Chaitanya, Br. Shantamrita Chaitanya and Bri. Rema Devi, will lead the retreat.

DETAILS:
This retreat reinforces existing spiritual practices and provides the foundation for a lifetime of meditation practice. Connecting with the sacred and ancient wisdom within ourselves brings meaning to life. Benefits include clarity and strength of mind to achieve your goals, staying centered in an ever-changing world and overcoming stress and tension.

Amma’s simple technique of breath awareness infused with the MA-OM mantras and open observation makes this retreat suitable for all levels of experience in meditation from beginner to advanced. Meditation format alternates between sitting and walking sessions.
