Earth Day Satsang at the MA Center LA

 

Activities start at 2pm!

• Seedling transplanting, transplant care package making, and plant nourishing worm compost tea bag making

• Symphony of the Soil movie with organic popcorn served

• Informational tables for Indeed Campaign for Nature and succulents swap (bring succulents plants to swap)

• 1,000 names starts at 4:30pm and Satsang to follow

 

Bring your CRV recyclables to help raise funds for GreenFriends and AYUDH initiatives

 

2:00 pm - Hands On activity - transplanting seedlings to take home and making worm compost tea bags

2:30 pm - Symphony of Soil movie (104min) - organic popcorn being served
4:30 pm - Begin Chanting of the 1,000 names of Devi (Archana) (Please bring your Archana book Sri Lalita Sahasranama)

5:20 pm - Earth Day activity (right after 1,000 names during normal chai break; as a follow on to the soil video, we were hoping to have mulch in the parking lot already with buckets nearby and then ask the satsang if they would like to participate in distributing one bucket of mulch on MACLA grounds; the benefits of mulching would be explained consistent with the video; also this might require mulch to be picked up the day before or some time during that week)
