BLOOD PLATELET DRIVE SUNDAY DECEMBER 4TH AT MA CENTER LA

Blood Platelet Drive on Sunday, December 4th
MA Center LA is presenting our 2ND Platelet Drive on Sunday, December 4th.
Cedars Sinai is looking for platelet donors and has appointments starting at 10AM, 10:15AM, 12:15PM, 12:30PM, 2:15PM and 2:30PM.
Platelets are your clotting factor and help to stop or control bleeding during surgeries and/or for trauma patients, however Cedars Sinai's primary use of platelets is for their cancer patients. You can safely donate platelets as soon as 3 days after donating blood as you only lose about a tablespoon of blood. Platelet donation does take longer than a blood donation up to 2 hours.
All donors will receive 2 movie tickets as a thank you gift. Most importantly you will be saving a life!
