Maha Shivaratri
Maha Shivaratri at the Amma Center of New Mexico
Monday, March 4
4:45PM - 2:00AM
The Amma Center invites you to celebrate Maha Shivaratri, the Great Night of Shiva. This yearly festival honors the unmanifest reality of Pure Consciousness underlying all creation. It is a night of pujas, Shiva bhajans and the Sanskrit repetition of the 1,000 names of Shiva. Fasting is a tradition on this evening so no food will be served, however; chai will be served.
Everyone is welcome!
